While everything seems to be relatively peaceful and everybody is celebrating, there are some people whose lives will never remain the same again, the people of Southern Kaduna.


 Following the most recent massacre and pillage on Sunday, December 18, which resulted in the deaths of roughly 28 civilians, Nigerians are sore and Twitter is run over with scores using the #SouthernKadunaGenocide in thousands of post trying to bring world attention since the Government seems not to care and may even be complicit in the act as seen in the video below   


 They are saying that, these bullets are that of the Nigeria army,and it was used by the Fulani headsmen during their resent attack on the people of southern Kaduna. So what hope lies for the people of Southern Kaduna? Other than to appeal for international intervention? But to worth extent are externally forces allowed to help? Without undermining sovereignty. 

 But does this call for UN intervention and what technically constitutes as genocide? 

      From reports and stats reaching us they seem to be targeted and strategic, deliberate extermination.


 and targeted killings against a particular group of people based on an identity marker (Religion), is it just a coincidence that almost all the victims belong to a particular religion?or it is a systematic and targeted killing?

   These are questions everyone is asking, what is the motive behind this? Why are these assailants using Nigerian Army branded ammo?why are they wandering around with impunity? Why do the government use dangerous force on unarmed protesters and agitators and leave armed Fulani Herdsmen? Who are these Fulani Herdsmen anyways? Why do they have so much firepower? What is their agenda? Is islamisation a myth?

   These are issues we will try to attempt in subsequent articles. This has sparked up widespread national debates about the present political construct and on why they need to be voted out.

     Nigeria's history is riddled with religious persecution especially toward the Christian populace, perpetrated by the far-right wahabbist sunni Islamic groups. Boko Haram, ISWAP and Fulani Herdsmen, if you examine a little closely you will surely find a pattern, similar Ideologies, similar modus operandi but they have a conditioned environment to thrive and I am no conspiracy theorists but there is a burning question on everyone's mind, Is this planned all along and are they in cahoots with the government?
