After signing a recording contract with CSE Records, which is run by successful businessman Onyekachukwu Mba, moniker Don Lamba, music artist Jesse Chinedu, aka Mofizzay, has released an extended playlist called "Son of the Sun" in an effort to attract his expanding fan base.
Mofizzay said in a conversation with Midweek Entertainment that the new EP, "Son of the Sun," is his second EP under CSE Records and that he put his sweat, blood, and tears into it. He also said that the EP's six songs demonstrated his versatility as an artist.
I've always been interested about creating good music, not just sweet music that serenades or makes people dance, but music that people can relate to, said Mofizzay.
"I try as much as I can to tap into that and make music that resonates with the average man, with his thoughts, everyday lives, what they go through, and how they go through it.
I would say that my music mainly discusses life and love. It's my second EP for CSE Records, which is run by Onyekachukwu Mba, a.k.a. Don Lamba. While my personal life serves as my main source of inspiration, the EP "Son of the Sun" is merely an effort by me to demonstrate a bit more diversity and range.
Mofizzay claimed that many people won't believe some aspects of his musical journey, no matter how persuasive it sounded, and compared it to pages of an unending novel.

The journey had effectively started from nothing, he added, rising from dust even before reaching the grass. The road to the grace part can then be discussed. Beat-making, composition, singing, music directing, mixing, mastering, and even some promotion, I learned everything on my own.
So far, I've been having a blast the whole time. I've been on the journey for almost 13 years, and I'm delighted I did. But, the most important requirement—or, to be more precise, the top priority—for every artist is money. A strong strategy, plans, and backup plans are also necessary for the worst-case scenarios.
I wouldn't say that recording my second EP was difficult, but it wasn't as easy as recording the first EP because I had to juggle a lot of things, including video shoots, photo shoots, radio tours, meetings and appearances, as well as spend some time with family.
