According to court documents, controversial influencer Andrew Tate and his brother were released from a Romanian prison and given a 30-day house arrest instead.
Just before midnight local time, the 36-year-old self-described misogynist and his brother Tristan were let go from a detention center in Bucharest.
Following his release, Andrew Tate posted a smiling face emoji on Twitter along with a sign-up link for his website and the statement, "Email regarding my release will be sent in 24 hours."

The influencer also shared a video of himself smoking and moving around a room. The caption said he had discovered "absolute clarity of mind" in jail.

Pacing a 3metre cell with zero electronics or outside contact. Absolute clarity of mind. Real thoughts. Real plans.
Vivid pain.
One hour home and I cant stand my phone.

Tristan Tate told reporters as he left the facility that "the judges today made the right decision."
I appreciate what they've done for me, and I'm confident that they made the right choice because I'm going to be able to prove my innocence.
The siblings then made their way through the throngs to a car with darkened windows and sped off as fans chanted "Top-G, Top-G," a nickname that Andrew Tate's supporters frequently use for him.
The pair are being looked into by prosecutors in Bucharest along with two other ladies from Romania, Naghel Georgiana Manuela and Radu Alexandra Luana.
It is believed that Georgiana Manuela is Andrew Tate's girlfriend.
Allegations of rape, human trafficking, and organizing a group to commit crimes against women have kept the four suspects in custody for months.
Each and every charge has been refuted. According to Mateea Petrescu, head of communications for Andrew Tate, "They are not a flight risk and they are not a danger to public safety, so [the authorities] have decided to release them under house arrest."
"[It's] just a small step; they are still being investigated,"
They are utterly overjoyed. They maintained their spirits throughout their time in prison, and now that they are going home, they are ecstatic.
An appeals court in Bucharest issued an order stating that it "rejects the proposal to extend the duration of the preventive arrest measure.. regarding the defendants Tate III Emory Andrew, Tate Tristan, Naghel Georgiana Manuela, and Radu Alexandra Luana."

The preventive measure of house arrest for 30 days is substituted for the measure of preventive detention imposed against the defendants by the court.
"Orders the immediate release of the defendants," the document's conclusion read.
