Kim Kardashian's most recent makeover has the potential to smash the internet. The reality star's hair has never been shorter than it was when she posed for a recent CR Fashion Book picture session, which was released on September 25th

When it comes to experimenting with her hair, Kim Kardashian is nothing if not bold, sporting anything from precisely cropped bangs to platinum strands. The 42-year-old style icon appears for the cover of the CR Fashion Book 2023 with a buzzed haircut and thinly arched brows, possibly completing her most astounding change to date.

Youssef Marquis, the creative director, reinvented Kim Kardashian's long, dark hair as more ragged and short-ended. In contrast to the image Kardashian has built for herself, the reality star's expected sleek, elegant appearance was replaced by a rough, unadorned look.

Only her barely-there brows and nearly-gone head of hair serve as accessories for Kardashian in the photo shoot, giving her a hint of edge. The arms, chest, and white tank top of the celebrated A-lister were covered in smears of death.

In other photos, the businesswoman was seen smoking a cigarette while looking directly into the lens of a camera, wearing a C-cut of cosmetics that drooped down her cheek to the edge of her mouth, and having angeled readers.

She changed from a tight tank to a thick button-down jumper and an oversized sweater. Kardashian is both the spectacle and the seer in the CR universe.

The only noticeable makeup on her face was a light shimmering gloss that covered her eyelids. The cover said, "Kim Kardashian by Nadia Lee Cohen."

The new appearance has gained popularity among Kardashian's followers on social media. One follower commented on Kardashian's Instagram image, "Umm, this is iconic," and another, "Sooo cool, I love this look on you."

The Skims founder also reflected on her first encounter with the magazine’s Editor-in-Chief, Carine Roitfeld.

“I had always heard you were the most stylish person on the planet, and I had your books at my house. We met when I was pregnant with North, and you asked to do my first fashion cover,” she remarked. “I was freaking out. Karl [Lagerfeld] shot it, Riccardo [Tisci] art directed it, and you styled it. I was so nervous and so excited all at the same time.”

Kardashian allowed her cover feature for CR Fashion Book to play out exactly as the team had envisioned. “I show up on set and the makeup artist only had two products,” the entrepreneur confessed. “And I was low-key freaking out but obviously trusted your plan.”

“If there was a goddess who presided over social media, reality television, fashion, or entrepreneurship, Kim Kardashian could arguably hold any and all of those titles,” her feature read.

The fashion enthusiast initially appeared on the cover of CR's Fall/Winter 2013 Issue 3. Here, a different image of her spirit was presented. Kardashian's straight silky hair and fluffy eyebrows remained in place.
