FITCC Houston, the second iteration of the global expo, is scheduled for October 24–25, 2023, at the elegant George R. Brown Convention Center, located at 1001 Avenida de las Americas.
The bank is planning the second round of the highly regarded exhibition after the first, successful event in November of last year in London, which resulted in the closing of over $200 million worth of agreements. The purpose of this year's edition is to continue the history of supporting Nigeria's non-oil exports and enabling integrations with international supply-chain networks.
"Fidelity Bank has a strong commitment to promoting export trade, as evidenced by our ongoing interventions and innovations in this area," Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe stated.
“Beyond the instrument of financing, some of our key interventions in the space revolve around business management capacity development with initiatives like the Export Management Programme (EMP) which we host in partnership with the Lagos Business School and the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) and market access development initiatives like FITCC.”
Throughout the two days, attendees would be treated to displays from some of the top Nigerian companies in the commodities, agribusiness, Fintech, fashion, arts, and related industries. In a similar vein, leaders and stakeholders in the commercial, regulatory, and investment sectors of the US and Nigerian economies will engage in a number of panel discussions in the venue's various halls to exchange views on potential for bilateral trade.
FITCC Houston will culminate on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, with a gala dinner that will include performances by award-winning Nigerian hip-hop artist Kcee in addition to other performers. There is still time to register for this event at www.fitccusa.com.
