Noah J. Wadata, a prominent member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Bauchi State, has counseled Governor Bala Mohammed to capitalize on his Supreme Court victory to increase the pace of the state's development and enhance the good governance he established during his first term in office for sustainable development.
In a statement released in Bauchi, Wadata stated that it was evident that Bala's reelection for a further four years in office was the result of his diligence and commitment to security, infrastructure development, and good governance.
He added that the widespread jubilation that followed his Supreme Court triumph in every town and village was evidence of the trust that people had in him.
He emphasized that the previous four years and seven months had demonstrated that Bauchi State would advance to new heights in terms of security, infrastructural development, and harmonious coexistence of the state's various ethnic groups.
Wadata congratulated Muhammad Auwal Jatau, the governor's deputy, and the governor on their Supreme Court victory.
Additionally, he stated that the people of Bauchi, who have long been strangled by politicians who have no regard for the welfare of the populace, were the true beneficiaries of the triumph. In particular, he praised the governor for his efforts in addressing the state's insecurity problems.
“This is a divine intervention, and we salute the Supreme Court justices for proven that they are the last hope of the common man.
“As a true politician, we commend Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad who after his victory, extended hands of fellowship to his opponents. That is the hallmark of a great politician,” he said.
He called on Bauchi state people to forget their political interest, religious and ethinc backgrounds and join hands with Governor Bala to rebuild and restore the glory of the state.
“Your Excellency, your massive votes polled across the state at the election and the affirmation of your victory at the supreme court to come first among other qualified candidates is a sign that you are the popular choice of the peace loving people of Bauchi State.

He praised the executive arm of government at the federal level under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for not interfering in the cases at the Supreme Court especially Kano, Plateau, Zamfara and Bauchi states.
