In addition to setting records for N1.4 billion in Nigeria and Ghana, "A Tribe Called Judah" has become the highest grossing Nollywood film in six French-speaking African nations, where it brought in over 3.5 million West African CFA Francs, or N9.3 million.
The film has also made £83,000 after opening in UK theaters in January 2024.
"A Tribe Called Judah" is now the first Nollywood movie to earn more than N9 million in French-speaking Africa.
On January 19, 2024, the film had its world debut in thirteen regions among nine French-speaking African nations. The following regions have been chosen for screening: M'Pita and Poto Poto in Congo; Godope and Mide in Togo; Idrissa Quedraogo and Yennega in Burkina Faso; Teranga in Senegal; Wologuede, Cotonou in Benin; Tombolia in Conakry; and Mandjiozangue in Gabon.
The Canal Olympia Showtimes Cinemas handled the movie's distribution in those areas.
The Cinemas Exhibitors Association of Nigeria (CEAN) announced on January 14 that, barely three weeks after its theatrical debut, the film's local gross had surpassed N1.3 billion, making it the highest-grossing Nigerian film to date and the first to gross over N1 billion.
