Taylor Swift swallows bug during London Eras show

In London, Taylor Swift ingested yet another bug while performing. The 34-year-old pop sensation, who is known for sometimes ingesting insects on accident while performing outside, had this incident once more on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at her third "Eras Tour" show at Wembley Stadium.

She was performing the 10-minute rendition of "All Too Well" when it happened.
 

"I swallowed a bug, can you sing?" she asked the crowd as she paused in the middle of the song, "And forget why I needed to." She was assisted in getting through the situation by the warm response from the Swiftie community. At the London performance, Swift's 34-year-old boyfriend Travis Kelce made an unexpected appearance.

This incident follows a similar one during a recent concert in Chicago, Illinois, where Taylor abruptly stopped her set, turned her back to the audience due to a coughing fit, and later explained, “I swallowed a bug. I’m so sorry … [I’m] totally fine … It’s just dumb. It’s so stupid.” She then joked, “Oh, delicious. Is there any chance that none of you saw that? It’s fine. I’ve swallowed it.”

Taylor Swift added humorously, “This is going to happen again tonight. There are so many bugs. There are a thousand of them. So, I’m just going to try to not do as many of those.” Taylor managed to regain her singing voice and continue the Chicago show without further insect-related issues.

Her microphone malfunctioned as she began her song "Lover" earlier in the evening, which was followed by the bug incident. After swiftly replacing the malfunctioning equipment, Taylor joked with the crowd and remarked, "All right, guys, let's start this over again." Nothing like that occurred. Let's reset our memories for a moment; none of it occurred. We've returned to 36 seconds prior. The lengthy "Eras" tour is scheduled to pick back up in Dublin, Ireland, on June 28.
