Protesters involved in the #EndBadGovernance movement have seized an Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) belonging to the Nigeria Police Force in Kaduna State. Videos circulating on social media show the demonstrators driving the vehicle through the streets, although the circumstances leading to the takeover remain unclear.

In response to the escalating protests, the Kaduna State Security Council imposed a 24-hour curfew on Kaduna and Zaria Metropolitan Cities on Monday. This decision follows the unrest sparked by the demonstrations in the cities.

Despite the return of normalcy in some areas, thousands of youths continue to protest, demanding an end to what they describe as bad governance.

President Bola Tinubu addressed the nation on Sunday, calling for an end to the protests. However, the demonstrators argue that the President did not address their demands.

Samuel Aruwan, the overseeing Commissioner of the Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, stated that the curfew was imposed in the interest of peace.
