Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler has expressed serious interest in joining the Brooklyn Nets, according to reports.

Butler is reportedly open to a move to New York, particularly impressed by how the Nets have managed Ben Simmons' ongoing injury challenges.

The forward, who was unable to reach an agreement on a contract extension with the Heat, is set to earn $48.8 million for the 2024-25 season. He holds a player option for $52.4 million in the summer of 2025, which, if declined, would make him a free agent.
