In a disturbing incident in Ogun State, gunmen abducted a 66-year-old senior nursing officer from Babcock University Teaching Hospital, Elizabeth Uruakpa, on the evening of September 5, 2024. The incident occurred in Ilisan Remo, when Uruakpa, a widow, was returning from a church service. The attackers blocked her Honda CRV with an unregistered red Toyota Camry, forcibly removed her from her vehicle, and drove off with her.
Authorities, including the Ogun State Police Command, have confirmed the kidnapping, and efforts are underway to locate and rescue her. The police have mobilized anti-kidnapping units and are combing nearby areas for leads
